A proud Metro Atlanta native and graduate of Morris Brown College and Central Michigan University, she has served as a teacher, mentor, instructional coach, and district leader who champions equity, the arts, and innovative teaching practices. KiTonya is known for her ability to ignite motivation, empower audiences, and turn potential into purposeful action. Whether she is guiding educators, motivating young leaders, or speaking on resilience and growth, her message is always rooted in authenticity, service, and impact. When she is not writing or leading, this mother of two can be found training for her next 5K, modeling the perseverance she encourages in others.
